danceLAB classes 2010:

CONTEMPORARY TECHNIQUE

Contemporary dance draws on both modern and post-modern dance as inspiration. As part of training at danceLAB students will explore improvisation and contact improvisation along with duo work. Performances are focused on developing choreography that is original, meaningful and challenging. danceLAB has a strong interest in and is influenced by dance theatre.

BODY CONDITIONING

A combination of mat pilates, yoga and stretches for core strength and body maintenance. Body Conditioning is regularly a feature of warm up during Contemporary Technique Classes.
